Tony Kerley FCIPD FInstLM is an organisational
development and HR strategist with over 35 years of
experience helping leaders improve performance in
complex organisations. He has worked across banking
recruitment manufacturing property public sector bodies
charitable organisations and the energy sector giving him
a wide lens on how different organisations create
sustainable results through people.
Tony’s career includes senior work with HSBC Manpower
UK Nissan Carlsberg UK Carter Jonas multiple NHS Trusts
two universities Suffolk County Council and NGOs such as
Age UK and the Overseas Development Institute. As the
founder and leader of several HR‑related businesses he has
built grown and exited organisations that depend on strong cultures high engagement and effective leadership.
A Fellow of the CIPD and Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management Tony combines advanced HRD expertise with practical leadership insight. He has taught at Saïd Business School University of Oxford bringing contemporary thinking on leadership and organisational design to senior professionals and connecting academic research with day‑to‑day executive reality.
Today Tony leads Contigo Associates’ consultancy work with CEOs and managing directors who want a trusted independent adviser on people strategy and organisational performance. He is known for his straightforward style clear analysis and his ability to turn complex HR and OD issues into simple choices and actions for busy leaders.
