With Contigo’s Self-Paced CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice, you’re in control of your study schedule. Most learners complete within 12 months, but you can fast-track in as little as 3 months or take up to 18 months if you prefer a gentler pace.

We provide suggested study plans (from intensive to steady progress), so you can choose the timetable that works best for you. For example:

• 3 months: ~10 hours per week

• 6 months: ~5 hours per week

• 12 months: ~2–3 hours per week

However you choose to pace your learning, you’ll always have tutor engagement points at key stages to keep you supported and on track.

Instead, you’ll complete four written assessments (one for each unit). Each assessment is designed to test your understanding of the unit content and your ability to apply it in practice.

Here’s how it works:

• You’ll work through your study materials at your own pace.

• When you’re ready, you’ll submit your written assessment for that unit.

• Your tutor will provide feedback and our assessors will mark your work.

• All assessments are then quality assured by the CIPD.

And don’t worry – if you don’t pass first time, you’ll have up to two further attempts, with detailed feedback to help you improve and succeed.
