The CIPD Associate Diploma course is designed for people who want to get on in the people profession, so you will either need to have already gained the Level 3 Certificate in People Practice or to be able to demonstrate good experience of having worked in HR related roles.

With Contigo’s Self-Paced CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management, you decide the pace that works for you. Most learners complete within 18 months, but you can progress more quickly or take longer if you need extra flexibility (up to a maximum of 24 months).

We provide suggested study plans to help you structure your time:

• 9 months (fast-track): ~10–12 hours per week

• 12 months (balanced pace): ~7–8 hours per week

• 18 months (steady pace): ~4–5 hours per week

However you choose to pace your learning, you’ll always have tutor engagement points at key stages to keep you supported and on track.

Instead, you’ll complete seven written assessments (one for each unit) spread across your course. Each assessment is designed to test your understanding of the unit content and how you can apply it in real HR and people management situations.

Here’s how it works:

• You’ll work through your study materials at your own pace.

• When you’re ready, you’ll submit your written assessment for that unit.

• Your tutor will provide guidance and feedback, and our assessors will formally mark your work.

• All assessments are then quality assured by the CIPD.

And don’t worry – if you don’t pass an assessment first time, you’ll have up to two further attempts, with clear, specific feedback to help you succeed.
